Questions We Get a Lot
A louvered pergola features adjustable aluminum roof slats that let you control sunlight and airflow with ease, making it a great choice for year-round use. A traditional wood pergola, like those built from cedar, offers a warmer, more natural aesthetic with an open-trellis roof that filters light beautifully. The right choice really comes down to how much weather protection you want and the look you are going for in your outdoor space.
Our pergolas are designed with the at-home installer in mind — each one arrives with the hardware and instructions needed for assembly in your own hands, at your own pace. No outside contractor is required, though you may want a second set of hands for larger structures. We recommend reviewing the product details for specific assembly requirements before purchasing.
Louvered aluminum pergolas are built with reinforced frames and integrated drainage systems that channel water away from the structure, making them well-suited for rainy conditions. The adjustable roof slats can be closed fully to protect the space below during a downpour. As with any outdoor structure, proper anchoring and installation following the included instructions is key to long-term performance.

About Our Pergolas
A pergola is one of the most transformative additions you can make to an outdoor space. Whether anchored to a deck, placed over a patio, or positioned as a freestanding garden feature, a well-chosen pergola creates a defined room outdoors — one that invites you to linger longer, entertain more comfortably, and enjoy your backyard in a way that feels intentional and designed. Pergolas range from open-roof trellis styles that filter sunlight and support climbing plants, to fully engineered louvered structures with adjustable rooflines and integrated drainage for all-weather use. When choosing a pergola, consider the size of your space, the level of shade and weather protection you need, and the material that best suits your aesthetic — aluminum offers clean, modern lines with low maintenance, while natural wood brings warmth and organic character. Think about how the structure will anchor into your existing surface, and whether you want a design that grows with the seasons or one that holds its form year-round. The right pergola does not just cover a space — it completes it.
